Painting/Drawing– School Programs:

Nirja Setty Straight wins from Pre-K to 8th
Grade + several DFW local drawing competitions. 1st 3 places. Landscape, Portrait, Pencil Work, Paints – Watercolor,
Acrylic, Oil Painting, Charcoal, Sketching Figurines, Buildings & Monuments, Multi-dimensional drawings: 2d, 3d 4d.Some of her sketches & paintings are in school halls & organizers offices till date because of the messages that
these drawings convey through arts.

Samarth Setty School Drawing Competition – Inter-School
Competition – 1st place. 1st Grade. Dinosaur. Theme:
Pre.Historic Animals.

Instruments: Flute – School Program/Band – LISD. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in ISD competitions as Soloist – Samarth Setty.

Spelling Bees: 9th place regionals-state – Nirja. School Competitions – Samarth Setty, Nirja Setty.

Essay Competition: Nirja Setty elementary level. 2nd place at School. Won 50$ gift card from sponsor!

Rock Climbing:

  • Carrollton Texas: 1-week group camps with friends x 4 weeks
  • Arizona: 4-day holiday camp-boulder and introduction to rock climbing.
  • Arizona Pink Jeep Tours. 1 week.
  • Arizona Balloon Ride + Hike 1 day Tour w/sunset dinner.
  • The settys often hike/rock climb in open environments with their family and friends’ trips. These courses include high elevation breathing techniques, injury prevention and so on.
    • Latest climb w/hike extremely rocky forest hike : Wheelers Peak New Mexico 13,167. (Carson National Forest) via Williams Lake route picnic at 11,040.
    • Climbed until 12,000 and had to turn back to reach ground on time before camp-time closure.
    • The trail climbs consistently up and as can be expected, it gets steeper as you get closer to the top and is extemely rocky w/snow/ice/slushy/water patches/puddles.

Snorkeling & Underwater/Water Sports :

  • 2019 – Snorkeling & under water games – Cruise Package –
    • 2 days of under water games/snorkeling treasure hunt.
    • 1 day in Open Water – Cozumal, Mexico. Won 2 treasure bags.
  • 2019 – Open Water Games (Non-Competing) : Cozumal, Mexico.
  • Under water dives & camps – Florida – Sunset Package 1 day.
  • South Padre : Whale and Shark Sight – Sunset package 1 day.
  • Easter Water Egg Hunt : 5 years back to back – North lake college, Irving, Texas.Won 2 golden eggs
  • Underwater Egg Hunt: Advance swimmers – 2 years – North Lake College, Irving, Texas. Won Golden Eggs.
  • Easter Water Egg Hunt : 1 year – Coppell Aquatic.Won golden eggs.

****Parents have requested to limit advertising and media exposure in performing arts activities as both kids pretty good in studies.
